Tron Civil Contracting Pty Ltd strives for the highest standard of Occupational Health and Safety, and has a comprehensive safety system as part of its management system. This safety system is initiated at the subcontractor and employees induction stage and continues through the employee assessment, group training and personal development phases, thus committing Tron Civil to a workplace that is free from injuries.

Employees and contractors have specific responsibilities for observing and maintaining a safe working environment, as detailed in the Health and Safety Policy. This program is further complimented by OHS&W Procedures, and includes: Feedback, discussion, accident/incident reporting, hazard analysis, equipment testing and auditing which are used to continuously improve procedures and practices.

Health and Safety Policy

Our Health and Safety Vision: "We will go home from work without injury or illness"

We believe that:

  • No business objective will take priority over health and safety.
  • All injuries are preventable.
  • No task is so important or urgent that it cannot be done safely.
  • Without diminishing management's obligations, the responsibility and accountability for health and safety rests with every individual.

At Tron Civil we are committed to conducting our business in a manner that prevents injury or illness to employees, contractors, customers and to the public which may be affected by all our work activities. We encourage good practice in health and safety management.

To achieve this we will:

  • Identification of all hazards and eliminate or, if not possible, manage the risk to as low as reasonably practicable.
  • Promote with and consult active participation of employees in the management of their own and others health and safety.
  • All companies providing contract services to Tron Civil are required to manage their health and safety in line with this policy.
  • To ensure continuous performance improvement Tron Civil provide the resource to achieve a systematic approach to health and safety management.
  • Set improvement targets, identify performance measures, report and measure performance at all levels.
  • Comply with or exceed all relevant legislation and standards.
  • Create a culture where all employees and contractors are constantly aware of hazards around them and act accordingly at and away from work.
  • Include health and safety performance in the appraisal of employees and contractors and recognize accordingly.

Environmental Policy

Tron Civil Contracting Pty Ltd is committed to conducting its operations and business activities in a manner that prevents or
minimise pollution and other adverse impacts on the environment.


To fulfill this commitment, Tron Civil will:

  • comply with all environmental legislation, formal agreements, and relevant industry
    standards;
  • integrate environmental management systems with its existing business systems;
  • measure and continually improve our environmental performance;
  • ensure environmental impacts are considered in the planning, design, construction and operation of our work;
  • recognise the biodiversity of areas under its operational control, and avoid unnecessary disturbance to cultural and natural sites of significance;
  • work within a frame work of sustainable development by using resources in a manner which maximises their value to the community and to future generations;
  • respond openly and constructively to the reasonable expectations of the community on environmental matters;
  • promote an attitude of care and responsibility and a sense of stewardship, for the environment by employees;
  • minimise waste generated by our operations;
  • inform agents, advisers, contractors and consultants of the Environmental Policy.

The Tron Civil is responsible for this Policy and monitoring compliance with the Policy.

The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring that day-to-day responsibility for implementing this Policy is delegated to line
management and employees.
